Introducing Orbital IT: AI data center infrastructure, accelerated with AI.
Orbital Industries is an AI-first industrial company. We use AI to accelerate the development of new hardware products and devices for the world's most important industries.
Today we're launching Orbital IT, a new brand dedicated to AI data center infrastructure, and a clear expression of the three disciplines unified at the heart of everything we build: advanced materials, hardware engineering, and manufacturing.
These are the joint capabilities that let us move fast, build things that don't yet exist, and solve problems that no single discipline could tackle alone.
The defining infrastructure challenge ahead
Right now, AI infrastructure is the hardest, most consequential place to apply our strengths. The world needs more compute, and it needs it faster than current approaches can deliver. The challenges standing in the way are not one problem, they're three distinct disciplines, and they map directly onto what Orbital Industries does best:
Manufacturing. The world needs data centers faster than traditional construction allows. Orbital IT treats deployment as a manufacturing challenge; faster modular builds, repeatable processes, and supply chains designed for scale.
Advanced materials. High-density racks demand new thermal management materials. Orbital IT develops PFAS-free dielectrics purpose-built for next-generation cooling environments, giving operators performance and compliance headroom without compromise.
Hardware engineering. Orbital IT designs cold plate architectures, and coolant distribution units from the ground up for AI workloads. Everything is engineered specifically for the thermal and electrical demands of modern compute.
